Registration Application Page MIRU2025 will be held on-site as a general rule. Please note that remote streaming will not be available.

Notice of System Maintenance

The registration application page will undergo system maintenance during the following period.

*During the maintenance period, access to the application screen and management screen will be unavailable. Please be aware of this in advance.

Participation Fee

MIRU 2025 has set the following participation fees. *For registrations made by June 30, 11:59 a.m., we will prepare name tags with your name and affiliation printed on them. For registrations made after that time, we will not be able to print your name and affiliation, so please note that you will need to fill in the name and affiliation sections on the name tag provided on the day of the event.

  • All prices include tax. Registration entitles you to receive a copy of the Extended Abstracts (electronic data) and participate in all sessions, including tutorials.

Registration Categories

Please refer to the following details to determine which registration category you fall under. *Even if you do not fall under any of the categories below, you may be able to register for PRMU or CVIM at a lower price by registering as a “study group registrant” and then registering for MIRU.

  • Members of the Information Processing Society of Japan who are affiliated with an organization that has registered for the Computer Vision and Image Media (CVIM) Study Group for the 2025 fiscal year

  • Example: If Company A, which is a 5-member supporting member of the Information Processing Society of Japan, has registered 3 members for the 2025 CVIM Study Group, up to 3 employees of the company can register as “Study Group Registrants.”

  • Senior refers to individuals who are 65 years of age or older as of April 1, 2025.


Important Notes

  1. At least one author of each paper must register as a paid participant.
  2. One general participant registration can be linked to multiple papers.

  3. Participation registration linked to a paper must be completed by June 30, 11:59 AM (early registration deadline).
  4. Enter the Paper ID number displayed in Microsoft CMT as the paper number.

If you have forgotten to enter the Paper ID, please contact Seibu Travel (miru@seibutravel.co.jp).

  1. Please note that cancellations after registration are not accepted.
  2. The Extended Abstracts will be closed materials, so please refrain from redistributing them.

Payment Method

  • Please pay by credit card when registering.
  • (Credit card payment is the only payment method available.)

Registration Process

  1. Fill out the application form and pay by credit card.
  2. After registering and paying by credit card, you will receive an automatic reply email with your registration details.

  3. You can issue a receipt yourself from the receipt issuance URL provided in the automatic reply email.

Q. About issuing receipts

A. We will send you a receipt issuance URL in the automatic reply email after registration.

Receipt issuance procedure:

  1. Log in with your registered ID (registration number) and password from the URL.
  2. Enter the recipient name and click the “Confirm” button.

  3. When the confirmation screen appears, confirm the details and click the “Issue Receipt” button.

  4. The receipt PDF will be displayed in a new window or tab (please save it).

Important notes:

  • You cannot change any text other than the department name and title.
  • Receipts can only be issued once. The issue date will be the date you click the button.

  • The receipt can be printed up to five times in PDF format.


Q. Is payment by invoice possible?

A. Neither payment by invoice nor issuance of invoices is possible. Payment can only be made by credit card.


Q. I registered under the wrong registration category.

A. You will need to register again. Please contact us at miru@seibutravel.co.jp with the relevant registration details and request cancellation and a refund. After that, please re-register and make payment with the correct details.


Q. Is it possible to issue an invoice?

A. We cannot issue invoices.


Q. Are participation registration fees taxable?

A. Yes, all participation categories are taxable (10%), and the tax amount is included in the price.


Q. I am a working professional affiliated with a company, but I am also enrolled in a doctoral program. Can I register as a student?

A. Generally, please determine based on your primary affiliation and purpose of participation (e.g., if the purpose is to present university research, the student category is appropriate).If you are unsure, please contact us via the inquiry form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfYrksdShlhB0B-WwDdtymyqBI1kfwjhHArUmZEkeQO9EmBmQ/viewform).


Q. Is the banquet fee included in the participation fee?

A. Yes, it is included.


Q. Can you tell me the cost of the banquet?

A. As it is included in the participation fee, we cannot provide the cost of the banquet alone.


Q. Is it possible to participate in the banquet only?

A. There is no plan for banquet-only participation. Regular registration is required.


Q. Can participants who use sponsor registration benefits also attend the banquet?

A. Yes, they can attend.


Q. Can you issue an invoice-compatible receipt?

A. Yes, we can issue one.


Q. Is lunch provided?

A. Lunch is not provided, but we plan to sell boxed lunches at the venue for a fee (approximately 1,100 yen). There is a survey for boxed lunch requests on the registration form, so please check there (this does not guarantee the availability of boxed lunches on the day). Please note that there are no restaurants nearby (please refrain from bringing food or drinks from outside, such as convenience stores).If you are participating in a corporate event or other lunch event, lunch may be provided, so please check the event page for details.


Q. I would like to confirm my registration category.

A. Please refer to the “Participation Categories” section above. If you have any questions, please contact the MIRU2025 Executive Committee.


Q. Is there any compensation in case of bad weather?

A. We will not compensate for damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters.


A. The copyright belongs to the presenter. Reuse, modification, distribution, and distribution are prohibited.


Q. Are recordings (captures/recordings) prohibited?

A. Recording may be prohibited at the request of the presenter. If prohibited behavior is discovered, we may refuse participation in future events.


Accompanying participants

  • “Family members of participants who are junior high school students or younger” may attend as accompanying persons. MIRU welcomes children.

Childcare services are also available.

  • “Those accompanying participants who require assistance due to disabilities, injuries, illnesses, pregnancy, etc.,” or others who have been approved to accompany participants through an application process may attend as companions.
  • The above companions do not need to register to participate (no participation fee applies).

  • MIRU2025 does not compensate participants for any damage caused by force majeure such as natural disasters.
  • The copyrights for presentation materials (including text, images, videos, audio, etc.) belong entirely to the presenter. Reuse, modification, distribution, and broadcasting of these is prohibited.
  • Additionally, at the request of the presenter, capturing and recording may also be prohibited. If such actions or misuse are discovered, the MIRU Committee may ask the individual to refrain from participating for the rest of the conference.
