マシンビジョンとその応用に関するIAPRの第１３回国際会議（MVA2013）を京都にて
開催します。学術界、産業界のこの分野の研究者や技術者が一同に会し、活発に
議論する場を提供します。今回は３日間の本会議（５月２１〜２３日）のほか、
５月２０日にチュートリアル、５月２４日にテクニカルツアーが開催されます。

Call for participation: MVA 2013 Tutorial Courses
=============================================
It is our pleasure to announce the timely tutorials held in conjunction with the MVA2013.
Both courses focus on emerging techniques in computer vision which could be helpful for
rapid detection/recognition/estimation/prediction and 3D reconstruction from big data, etc.
Anybody who has an interest in these topics is invited to the tutorial.

Schedule:

Course:
1. 13:00-15:00, Randomised Forests and Tree-structured Algorithms in Computer
Vision
by Tae-Kyun Kim, PhD (Imperial College London, UK)
* 50 min: Boosting and Tree-structure Classifiers
* 50 min: Randomised Forest and Its Applications

2. 15:00-17:00, Large-scale structure from motion and localization
by Assistant prof. Akihiko Torii (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan)
* 40 min: Basic theories and algorithms
* 20 min: SfM in large part I
* 20 min: SfM in large part II
* 20 min: Applications and demonstrations

** Note that these tutorials include a couple of breaks.
