Second Call for Papers and Contributions
RO-MAN 2014
The 23rd IEEE International Symposium on Robot and Human Interactive
Communication
25th- 29th August 2014
Edinburgh, Scotland, UK
Email: info.ieee.roman2014 @ macs.hw.ac.uk
Website: http://rehabilitationrobotics.net/ro-man14/
RO-MAN 2014 is the twenty-third installment of this well-known and exciting
conference that invites submissions covering a range of topics in the domain
of robot and human interactive communication. RO-MAN continues to be one of
the key conferences for submitting innovative research on human-machine and
human-robot interaction and communication.
This year’s conference highlights the current societal challenges in health
and well-being by adopting the theme of Human-robot co-existence: Adaptive
interfaces and systems for daily life, therapy, assistance and socially
engaging interactions.
The conference provides a platform for exchange between researchers and
technology providers and will provide a chance for demonstrating research
outcomes and prototypes as well as existing products. Hosted in the
historical Scottish city of Edinburgh and overlapping with the well-known
Edinburgh Festival season (1-25 August, 2014), the conference will provide a
unique opportunity to meet and discuss with other participants. In addition
to regular submissions, we invite proposals for workshops, tutorial and
special sessions.
