1st International Workshop on BioImage Recognition (BIR'13)

の論文募集の案内をお送りします。

このワークショップでは、生体画像を広く捉え、細胞内の小器官の認識、培養細
胞の状態認識、プランクトン等の小型の生物の認識、CTやレントゲン等の医用画
像の認識、人物や動植物の認識等をすべて生体画像認識の対象と考えています。
このような様々な生体画像の認識に関する研究成果を発表していただくことで、
様々な生体画像の認識に共通する課題や手法に関する議論と同時に、対象毎の特
殊性やその対処方法に関する相互理解ができればと考えています。

また、ネットワークとコンピューティングに関する国際会議（The First
International Symposium on Computing and Networking （CANDAR'13)）の併設
ワークショップとして開催しますので、今後期待される大規模データへの対応に
関して、並列分散計算の専門家とも議論できると期待しています。

Call for Papers

1st International Workshop on BioImage Recognition (BIR'13)

The BIR'13 (http://is-candar.org/bir13) will be held in conjunction with
 International Symposium on Computing and Networking ― Across Practical
Development and Theoretical Research ― (CANDAR'13),  Dogo SPA Resort,
Matsuyama, Japan, December 4-6, 2013 (http://is-candar.org/).


The main goal of this workshop is to provide a timely forum for the
exchange and dissemination of new ideas, techniques and research in the
field of Machine Learning for BioImage Recognition. The workshop is
meant to promote research on applications of Machine Learning for
BioImag Recognition. We are convinced that the workshop will be
conducive to open and mutually beneficial exchanges of ideas between the
participants of these areas.


Topics of interest include, but are not limited to

+ BioImage Recognition Algorithms
+ Image Processing Algorishtms for Bio-Medical Image Analysis
+ Machine Learning Algorithms for BioImage Recognition
+ Paralell and Distributed Computing for Machine Learning of Large-scale
Data
+ Pattern Recognition Algorithms for Large-scale Data
