Digital Human Research Center, AIST Japan, in association
with the International Ergonomics Association's Technical
Committee on Human Simulation and Virtual Environments,
invites you to submit an abstract for the 3rd International
Digital Human Modeling Symposium to be held on the AIST
waterfront in Tokyo May 20-22, 2014.

The deadline for abstract submission is 15 November 2013.

The symposium will include both oral presentations and
poster sessions. We welcome submissions on all aspects of
computational human modeling and related disciplines,
including (but certainly not limited to):

- Anthropometry and 3D human body modeling
- Human functional data (e.g., joint maximum strength, joint range of motion)
- Hand modeling
- Musculoskeletal human models
- Motion capture and reconstruction
- Posture and motion simulation
- Modeling for subjective responses (e.g., ingress/egress, seat comfort)
- Impact biomechanics
- Applications and software demonstration
- Virtual reality and DHM
- Mental/cognitive models and integrated models
- Older, disabled and other special populations
- Verification and validation of DHMs
- Model standards and protocols
