*_Ramon y Cajal _*(senior fellowships)

-These are thought to be quite competitive calls, targeting candidates
with the potential to setup and lead their own research line. Strong
candidates are sought, with a good publication record (journal
publications is a must) and signs of good leadership skills.

-Application deadline: *January 20*.

-Duration: 5 years

-Salary: 31.6k minimum (gross)

-Additional funding: 40k to be used during the first 4 years of the contract

-Requirements

oCandidates must have obtained the PhD between 01/01/2004 and 31/12/2011.

oThey must have carried out research stays in research centers different
than the one they will join for a period of 24 months (from the date of
their PhD defence until the last day the sign the incorporation agreement)

oNote that researchers who have been awarded their bachelor's degree and
their PhD outside the Spanish University system already fulfill this
requirement.

*_Juan de la Cierva_*(two levels of research fellowships, intermediate
and junior)

oJuan de la Cierva-formación (PhD obtained between 01/01/13 to 31/12/14)

oApplication deadline: *February 3*.

oDuration: 2 years

oSalary: 21.5k minimum (gross)

oJuan de la Cierva-incorporación (PhD obtained between 01/01/10 to 31/12/12)

oApplication deadline: *January 29*.

oDuration: 2 years

oSalary: 25.0k minimum (gross)

oAdditional funding: 6k to be used throughout the contract to support
research activities

*_Beatriu de Pinos_*__(Modality B, intermediate fellowships)

oPhD obtained between 1/2008 and 12/2012

oApplication deadline: *February 2*.

oDuration: 2 years

oFunding: 85k for salary costs and 6k for expenses related to the
research activity for the period of two years.

oAt least two years of postdoctoral experience outside Spain
