[FIRST CALL FOR PAPER]

----------------------------------------------------------------------
INTRODUCTION
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The 14th IWDW, International Workshop on Digital-forensics and Watermarking
(IWDW 2015) is a premier forum for researchers and practitioners working on
novel research, development and applications of digital watermarking and
forensics techniques for multimedia security. We invite submissions of
high-quality original research papers. Each submitted paper will be reviewed
by at least two reviewers. Two prizes are to be awarded for the best paper
and the best student paper, respectively. The proceedings of IWDW 2015 will
be published as the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
VENUE
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This year, IWDW will be held at the newly completed Katsushika Campus of the
Tokyo University of Sciences, located in the North Eastern part of Tokyo,
Japan.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
AREAS OF INTEREST
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The topics include, but are not limited to:

- Mathematical modeling of embedding and detection
- Information theoretic, stochastic aspects of data hiding
- Security issues, including attacks and counter-attacks
- Combination of data hiding and cryptography
- Optimum watermark detection and reliable recovery
- Copyright protection, DRM, and forensic watermarking
- Large-scale experimental tests and benchmarking
- New statistical and perceptual models of multimedia content
- Estimation of watermark capacity
- Reversible data hiding
- Data hiding in special media
- Data hiding and authentication
- Steganography and steganalysis
- Channel coding techniques for watermarking
- Digital multimedia forensics and anti-forensics
- Visual cryptography and secret image sharing

----------------------------------------------------------------------
SPECIAL SESSION
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This year, we are planning a special session on watermark technique based on
the common evaluation criteria. The special session will include a regular
session for information hiding techniques as well as a contest for the
performance of information hiding techniques in images, video, and audio.
The details will be announced at the conference web site as they become
available.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT DATES (TENTATIVE)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Paper Submission: June 2015
Notification of Acceptance: August 2015
Submission of Camera-Ready Versions: September 2015

----------------------------------------------------------------------
INSTRUCTION TO AUTHORS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Submissions must be made as a PDF file of no more than 15 pages. Please
