2014 年度 東京農工大学 テニュアトラック特任准教授公募要項

【公募概要】
東京農工大学では、テニュアトラック特任准教授 10 名を全学一括公募いたしま
す。任期は５年間です。採用された若手研究者は、本学のグローバルイノベー
ション研究機構に所属し、分野に応じた協力部局（農学研究院または工学研究
院）と連携しながら独立した研究室を運営できます。任期中に優れた業績を上げ
た場合には、任期なし（テニュア）ポストに採用されます。また、研究室の立ち
上げに必要なスタートアップ資金、事務支援サポートなどにおいて優遇措置があ
ります。さらに、講義負担と学内管理業務の負担を一定の範囲で軽減し、集中し
て研究を行う環境が与えられます。協力部局の学部と大学院では専門分野につい
ての講義を行い、大学院生の研究指導をすることが期待されます。テニュア付与
審査を 3 年目と 5 年目に行い、その評価に基づき任期無し雇用形態に移行しま
す。業績が特に優れる場合には 3 年目の審査後に早期テニュア付与されます。
本学のテニュアトラック制度ではテニュア付与後のポストは全員分用意されてお
り、着任後 6 ヶ月以内に評価基準を設定し、研究・教育実績評価に基づいてテ
ニュア付与審査が行われます。（詳細下記）給与は、後で述べるように、テニュ
アの教員とほぼ同等です。

Invitation of Applications for Tenure-Track Associate Professor

Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) invites
applications for ten (10) tenure-track positions at the rank of
Associate Professor in the Global Innovation Research Organization. TUAT
is interested in candidates who are committed to the highest standards
of scholarship and professional activities. The appointee will be
provided with an independent laboratory and startup budget with fewer
duties on the administration and lecture side. He/she will be expected
to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in his/her area of
expertise. There will be two evaluations at the 3rd and 5th years after
the appointment. If the outcome of the evaluation indicates that the
appointee has made promising or significant research, he or she will be
promoted to the status of a tenured position. Annual salary is the same
as tenured faculty members as shown below. TUAT is an equal opportunity
