Title:Image Processing Methods and Applications
Propose:
Image processing is processing of images as the requirements of users.
These image processing research directions include image segmentation,
image analysis, image
registration, image recognition, image understanding, image stitching
and so on. With the development of
mathematical methods, image processing is not to be limited to some
traditional methods such as histogram
equalization. Some fields such as machine learning, neural network and
pattern recognition have been
attractive in image processing society. Furthermore, the users are no
longer limited to human but also includes
robots. Thus, image processing includes a part of computer vision. These
image processing technologies
are widely applied in medicine, biology, engineering and entrainment fields.
This special session on Image Processing Methods with Application
will provide a dedicated forum to the
scientific and industrial community, which focuses on the advanced
image processing technologies and
their applications. We believe this venue will be an excellent place to
show latest progresses for future visual applications.
Topic of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Image segmentation
-Image enhancement
-Image analysis
-Image recognition
-Image understanding
-Medical image processing
-Computer vision
-Video processing
-Image and video retrieval and storage
