“Special Section on Multimedia Retrieval” を企画しております．

投稿締切は 2018年08月31日（金）です．

Call for Papers
Special Section on Multimedia Retrieval

The ITE (Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers)
Transactions on Media Technology and Applications announces a
forthcoming Special Section on “Multimedia Retrieval” to be published
in April 2019. The objective of the special section is focus on the
advances in multimedia retrieval technologies, methods and their
applications. You are strongly encouraged to submit original research
papers of the topics which include the following:
– Multimodal content analysis and retrieval
– Image/video summarization and visualization
– Complex multimedia event detection and recounting
– Deep learning for multimedia retrieval
– Community-based multimedia content management
– Applications of multimedia retrieval
– Other related works on multimedia retrieval

Submission Guidelines:
Papers must be submitted by August 31, 2018. Manuscripts should be
prepared according to the guideline given in the “Information for
Authors”. The latest version is available at the web site,
http://www.ite.or.jp/content/mta/. Authors should write “Special
Section: Multimedia Retrieval” in the cover letter and choose the
[Special Section] as a “Section Type” on the online screen. Do not
choose [Regular]. The term for revising the manuscript after
acknowledgement of conditional acceptance for this special section
could be shorter than that for other regular issues (30 days) because
of the tight review schedule. An extended version of a conference
paper is welcomed only if it cites the original conference paper and
clearly states differences between them.
