【テーマ】・企業やインフラ向けの画像音響データ利用事例と関連技術
    ・３次元データ利用事例と関連技術

2019年2月のAVM研究会では「企業やインフラ向けの画像音響データ利用」と「３次元データ利用」をテーマに，関連する事例や技術の研究発表を募集します．
サイバー空間(仮想空間)とフィジカル空間(現実空間)の高度な融合が期待されています．まずはスマートフォンの爆発的な普及と，家庭でのスマートスピーカ等によるAIやロボットの導入より，プライベートな活動での融合が進んでいます．今後は，企業活動やインフラ設備／システムのデジタル化が進み、様々な場面での空間の融合を進める取り組みが加速していくと考えられます．企業における数々のAI・自動化技術のトライアルが増加している今は，特に画像や音響等のメディアデータや、インフラ等の３次元データの利用方法についての知見や課題、将来の研究を議論するのにふさわしいタイミングと思います．
そこでAVMの2月研究会では以下のようなトピックを中心に，「企業やインフラ向けの画像音響データ利用」と「３次元データ利用」に関連する幅広い研究発表を募集します．

また2月研究会では特別講演を予定しています．
インフラ保守における画像の適用事例について，同分野でビジネスを進められているNTTコムウェア株式会社の井藤雅稔様にご講演いただきます。
また最新の画像処理・符号化の国際標準化動向について，KDDI総合研究所の河村圭氏より、また３次元データの国際標準化動向について、NTTメディアインテリジェンス研究所の杉本志織氏より、ご講演をいただく予定です．

CALL FOR PAPERS

   IPSJ SIG on Audio Visual and Multimedia information processing (AVM) will 
hold the technical meeting for discussion on use cases, new research results, 
systems, and techniques among researchers and developers concerned with audio 
visual information technology, in February 2019, in Naha City, Okinawa.

- Meeting date: February 28 - March 1 2019

- Place: Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company (KDDI building)
              1-2-1 Matsuyama, Naha City, Okinawa, Japan 900-8540

- Main Theme:
   * Use cases of using image and sound data for companies and infrastructure and
      related technologies
   * Use cases of using three-dimensional data and related technologies

- Scope:
   It is expected that advanced integration of cyber space (virtual space) and 
physical space (real space) will be achieved. First of all, fusion of private 
activities is progressing thanks to the explosive spread of smartphones and 
the introduction of robots and AI by smart speakers at home.
   In the future, as corporate activities and infrastructure equipment / 
systems become more digitized, efforts to promote fusion of spaces in various 
situations are expected to accelerate.
   Now that the trials of a number of AI / automation technologies in 
enterprises are increasing, it's time to discuss knowledge, issues and future 
research on media data such as images and sounds in particular, and how to use 
three-dimensional data such as infrastructure.
   At the February meeting of AVM, we are looking for a wide range of research 
presentations related to "using image and acoustic data for companies and 
infrastructure" and "using three dimensional data", and other related topics.
