Dear colleagues,

Good holidays! We hope you are doing well.

The IEEE International Conference on Multimedia & Expo (ICME) has been the ﬂagship multimedia conference sponsored by four IEEE societies since 2000. ICME2021 will be held in Shenzhen, China July 5-9, 2021. Special Sessions in ICME2021 supplement the regular program of ICME 2021 and are intended to provide a sample of the state-of-the-art and highlight important research directions in a field of special interest to ICME participants. Each Special Session should be a focused effort rather than defined broadly.
